A high-end, secluded sanctuary was the objective for this modern unit at the Four Seasons Residences. This client, an established developer in the city, was hoping to complete the design of this home on his own. However he eventually determined that he needed Decor Aid’s expertise to execute the look that he was hoping to achieve.
Our interior designer wanted to enhance the existing furniture and overall sophisticated aesthetic. To fuse the old elements with the new, we sourced pillows in vibrant colors pulled from the client’s daring, non-representational art. This also gave the space an element of approachable luxury, as opposed to the bare, formal look that it initially conveyed.
The living room was revitalized by Decor Aid with several new furniture additions and refined accents. The balance of the space also had to be perfected with object placement. Each sculptural piece incorporates a different material, adding further layers of visual interest.
We also wanted to marry the painterly piece of art behind the sectional with some new elements, so we chose accessories that would mimic the patterns and shapes in the composition. Various textures were utilized to add some organic, natural arrangements to the living space and make it feel more relaxed.
A clean master bathroom palette was embellished with a stylish area rug. While the plush materials and earthy colors in the master bedroom emphasize the rich, wood tones in the room. Our designer added curvilinear table lamps to soften the sharp furniture. The result is a masculine, yet comfortable bedroom.
